Snowshoeing Along The Fjord
10:30 from Scandic Hotel
1200kr / person
After meeting in Narvik, we will head to a mountain along the fjord where we will put on our snowshoes, show you how to use them and start walking up. Landscapes and views all along the way will leave you breathless. The area around Narvik offers the mountains, the fjords and the wild. Sometimes we can see wildlife on our way.
Snowshoeing is a great way to explore the arctic countryside and immerse yourself in Nature.
After effort comes comfort. When we reach our destination, we will then share a typical arctic lunch by the bonfire to make you discover the norwegian winter picnic: hot dog, homemade waffles and brown cheese. Suitable alternatives for vegetarians, vegan or other dietary regimes are available as well, just let us know in advance :-)
We will also share more about the norwegian culture and the area and answer your questions.
We will leave from Scandic Hotel at 10:30 and present you the plan for the day. No specific level is needed but you must enjoy being outside despite the possible cold. We will be back around 15:00. This will be a day out you will remember!
This tour is accessible to all levels but a minimum active physical condition is needed. If you don't like / can't hike, it will likely not be enjoyable for you. Are you able to walk to the 5th floor without taking the elevator? Can you carry a small backpack with water and a picnic? Do you usually do some kind of physical activity in your daily life? Then it should be great! Contact us if needed.
- Other departure times and options are available, contact us for more details :-) -
