Summer activities
1. BIKING
Road biking or mountain biking, Narvik offers a biking paradise to those who enjoy it. We can recommend great places if you wish.
If you need to rent a bike, we have the best mountain bikes in town ;-)
Electric and regular, for all sizes! Make sure to book in advance though.
4. Enjoying a waffle on the bonfire.
Yessss, that's one of our favorite ones. Going outside in the fresh air, making a fire and just enjoying the norwegian delicacy. What would you put on yours?
7. Enjoying a hot chocolate with a fjord view.
Narvik has a gondola that allows you to reach 656 meters above sea level in just a few minutes! There, the view is... amazing. You have to come and see it for yourself. We love to share a waffle and hot drink there.
2. Hiking
Yes, you probably understood it by now, this is something we LOVE. There are a lot of paths that are available in the area and the midnight sun reveals wonderful landscapes even in the later hours of the day.

5. fishing.
In the fjord or lakes (make sure to check local regulations), the area offers plenty of fishing opportunities! You will need your own gear. Patience is the key there, but it's definitely a relaxing activity in the silence of the arctic.
8. Discovering the battle of Narvik
The war museum in the very center of the city is great and definitely worth the visit.
3. Visit a dog-sledding farm
Close to Narvik are several farms. You cannot sledge in the summer (although some farms offer kart tours!) but it is sometimes possible to just come discover the farm and greet its inhabitants.
6. Visiting the Polar Park
45min away from Narvik with the bus is the famous Polar Park where live the species of the arctic. You might have the luck to spot a wild moose during your stay but if not, they're also at the park among with reindeers, lynx, wolves and much more!
9. Jumping in the fjord
Alright, that one is for the more adventures ones. But it's a full restart for your body and your mind. One of the stuff you have to do once in your life ;-)
